Green Japanese Maples are one of the finest small trees for texture, form, foliage, and fall color. Use them as focal points, specimens, foundation plants, or accents in the entryway or patio. They are also popular for bonsai. Space trees 5 to 8 feet apart, or pepper them throughout the landscape for blazes of bright fall color. Zones 5-8.
